At my core, I am a lifelong learner. When I am exploring the world, whether it be through community or the great outdoors, I observe it from every angle. I translate this skill into my design work, allowing me to approach my work with an unbiased lens.
In addition to my academic pursuits, I have honed my leadership and collaborative skills through my involvement in student government, where I served as both senator and president. These roles have instilled in me skills of advocacy, delegation, and strategic problem solving. As a member of the NEXT Innovation Scholars Program, a scholars program focused on client-based projects, I have also gained hands-on experience in translating concepts into actionable solutions.
While I am currently pursuing an Industrial Design degree at the University of Cincinnati, I seek out any professional opportunity centered around leadership, entrepreneurship or human behavior, whether within or beyond design fields. I most exemplify my entrepreneurial spirit when innovation and human-centered methods are at the forefront of my design process: frequently asking, who is the user and why do they care?
